Idea
A Idea Guide to Mental Arithmetic
The basis of the course is a series of miscellaneous exercises/tests which develop mental agility. The exercises include new techniques as they are met in the diagnostic tests, which students do periodically. The exercises get progressively more difficult to meet the improved agility of the students, culminating in a series of ‘Mental Callisthenics’ to stretch the most able. These will be far more effective for those students who have built up ‘mental muscle’ by working through the earlier miscellaneous mental exercises.
