The 2-year syllabus has been split into 16 topics. Each topic is split into 6-12 sections. Each section is meant to be delivered in one lesson.
Each section being split into two parts:
Working Together On Your Own
This is where the new ideas for the section are taught.The short exercises here are class teaching material. The material includes motivating puzzles and problems, as well as exam-style questions, based on the ideas met in “Working Together”.
This section is also available on a CD, as full colour pdfs. Which are also suitable for use with Interactive Whiteboards. Each screen has a large print format and space for answers (and working where required). Of course the material can be used without an Interactive Whiteboard. Material is graded, with the easiest material first. Thus the less able students have material which is accessible to them, and the more confident students soon move onto material which is more suitable for them.
